We understand that you have a lot of decisions to make. Here are some of the most common things people ask us.

How much does it cost?

You can start tracking for less than $10 per month. We want to grow with you, we can offer customized solutions as you scale up.

Do I need to pay a wireless carrier too?

No. We've simplified the whole process for you. We take care of the wireless data ourselves through our partners. We also offer services through all major networks.

What can I track?

Just about anything. You can install a Trackem GPS modem in seconds using our OBD-II solution, or let us professionally install hard-wired modem for you.

What if it's not a vehicle?

Many of our customers have expensive equipment that isn't a vehicle at all. For this we have a modem powered by a battery that can last up to 3 months.

How do I install Trackem in my vehicle?

We have professional installers that will do 100% of the work for you. But we like to tinker with things too, so if you're comfortable doing it we'll just give you instructions and you're set.

Do you have geofences?

Yes. We let you create an unlimited number of geofences in any size or shape and receive email or text message notifications when someone arrives or leaves.

How much travel history is kept?

90 days. You can go back in time and view a specific day and narrow it down to a certain time if you like. We have a couple more options to keep all your data as well.

Can I track my fuel and expenses?

Yes. You can use Trackem to record and visualize the costs to operate your fleet. Get as detailed as you like too, record fuel, oil changes and maintenance services performed which fully integrates with our beautiful reports.

How often does it update?

Every 2 minutes when moving and every 10 minutes when stopped. You can customize this to be as low as every couple seconds for critical time sensitive tracking.

Do you offer training?

Yes. We have dedicated staff to ensure that our customers can take full advantage of all we have to offer. Schedule free online training with us at anytime, even if you've been with us for years.

Do you integrate with anyone?

Sure do. Our reports can be exported to Microsoft Excel, PDF or Google Earth. We work with both Jonas eRouting and eBASE to seemlessly manage your fleet too.

Can I integrate with Trackem?

You defintely can. We offer a free to use public API (it powers our apps afterall). Some of our customers have used it to create a branded tracking service for their own customers. The possibilities are endless!

Are there any computer requirements?

Only a web browser, the one you're using now will do just fine. If you want to be geeky, we recommend Google Chrome.

What maps do you use?

All of our apps use Google Maps. We have also integrated Google's StreetView so you can zoom right in to see if it was garbage day. =)

What areas does Trackem work in?

Just about anywhere. We have customers globally, the only requirement is wireless coverage.
